What will you do? Hold a caseload of young people who have been referred to the charity for support. Work with 16 to 24 year olds experiencing homelessness.Carry out assessments of need. Complete the appropriate risk assessments. Work across the area with a multi-agency Hub based in Newport. Operate within the Housing Support Grant framework.Assist young people in securing and maintaining safe, secure accommodation. Travel across the area to meet with individuals on your caseload.Keeping excellent quality records of all interactions. What does this look like? A permanent full time contract.35 hour working week.9.30am to 5pm - Monday to Friday. Assist with occasional on-call duties (once in every 12 to 16 weeks).Payments for any on-call duties. Someone with substantial experience in homelessness outreach. A Support Worker or Case Worker from a youth support background.You'll need to be able to manage a chaotic workload. Someone who will get out there to find and meet young people. Good administrative and record keeping skills.You'll be able to deal with safeguarding issues as they arise.A person who never gives up!
