• Monday- Thursday : 9am-5pm , Friday : 9am-2pmThe role : To be responsible for : design, development and testing of new electronic assemblies that would be integrated into a mechanical package.Job Responsibilities to include :
• Development and Innovation – taking on responsibility for the electronic aspect of product developments, working closely in conjunction with the mechanical development engineer to ensure that it fits within spatial constraints.
• PCB design / layout and producing the necessary associative documentation for manufacture.
• Sourcing / producing and testing prototypes where necessary.
• Develop and test prototypes in accordance with applicable EMC legislation at our clients in house pre compliance testing facility
• Identify and recommend product improvements based on cost optimisation / technical performance.
• Leading the qualification, test, and requirements management aspects of physical design, including a variety of EMC standards.
