Location : High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP11 2JZ Salary : Grade G £37,099 (progressing to £41,732) Job Type : Full time, Permanent

Venue and Events Manager - The Role :

If you have the energy and enthusiasm to assist us in achieving our goal of making life better for our students, then we have the ideal opportunity for you to join our Venue and Events team.

The Venue and Events Manager will take a lead role managing the overall day to day commercial operation, overseeing both venue and events teams whilst managing any extra associated commercial opportunities that arise.

You will focus on supporting the team in devising, promoting, delivering and evaluating a diverse, exciting and engaging programme of traditional university entertainment alongside a calendar of more varied niche events and activities of exceptional quality, whilst leading the Venue team to deliver an outstanding service in a safe, inclusive and well-maintained space.

Venue and Events Manager - The Candidate :

You will have significant, relevant industry experience with astute commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of licensing laws and financial processes.

A working knowledge of health and safety procedures is essential, as is an excellent knowledge of events and activities across a wide range of entertainment and varying music genres.

You will also be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication and customer service skills and have a proven track record of managing a varied staff team whilst managing budgets and meeting targets.
