Personal Assistant - Camborne (H10)

• This role is a private arrangement with a person or family who is seeking support for someone else or themselves. You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and / or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council.

Location : Camborne

New Position

48-year-old gentleman seeks an approachable and patient personal assistant to join his small team and support him at home. He has a diagnosis of Quadriplegia (Tetraplegia).

Support required :

Hourly rate of pay : £13.25

Hours per week : Up to 30 hours (to be negotiated)

Essential :

Full clean driving license, as gentleman has use of a mobility vehicle

Ability to adapt to the gentleman’s changing needs, as well as a strong willingness to learn

Experience in a previous role
