Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and trust documents
- Draft and administer probate applications and assist with estate administration
- Liaise with clients, third parties, and other professionals, offering exceptional customer service
- Assist in the management of client files and maintain accurate records
- Conduct legal research and provide support to senior fee earners
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Take responsibility for a caseload, managing matters efficiently and proactively
- Provide clients with updates and ensure that their needs are met with professionalism and sensitivity
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as required
Key Requirements :
Proven experience in a private client role (Paralegal or Fee Earner level)Knowledge and understanding of private client work, including wills, probate, trusts, and estate administrationExcellent communication and client care skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage your caseload effectively, with a proactive approachExperience in using legal case management software is desirableAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamA positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering high standards of workDesirable Qualifications and Experience :
Legal qualification (CILEx or similar) is desirable but not essentialPrevious experience working in a high street legal practice is an advantageWhat We Offer :
