A leading premium care home is looking for a Care Assistant with some prior elderly care experience to join the team, supporting excellent care and luxury living while surrounded by Dalkeith’s woodland greenery and rich history.

This home specialises in nursing and dementia care for older adults and was built with a keen focus on making the home as accessible and comfortable as possible for residents with frailty, physical disability, and memory-related needs. As a Care Assistant, your role will be varied and engaging. From assisting with daily living, to spending some quality one-to-one time, to helping out with some planned activities, you’ll help each resident to live well and stay active in a warm and compassionate place.

Person specification :

• Essential ) Some professional experience as a Care Assistant in an elderly care setting
• Essential ) A compassionate approach and an interest in helping vulnerable people
• Essential ) Willingness to help with personal care tasks
• Desirable ) Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
