With a global customer base and a passion for preserving aviation history, this organisation offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of tradition and innovation.Benefits & Perks : Competitive salary with potential for growthComprehensive training providedOpportunity to work on historic aircraftCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunities to grow and expand your role in line with your interests and skillsResponsibilities : Coordinate processes involved in propeller overhaulsDisassemble and clean propellers for inspectionConduct visual inspections for wear and damageMeasure parts accurately to ensure complianceIdentify new parts required for rebuilding propellersPerform zinc-nickel plating as neededOverhaul propeller blades, including sanding, frequency checks, and static balancingAssemble propellers and maintain accurate paperwork recordsSupervise assistants and ensure a tidy workshopEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience) : Strong mechanical engineering knowledgePractical hands-on engineering skillsAbility to read and understand technical data, manuals, and specificationsExperience with measurement tools such as verniers, micrometres, and height gaugesMotivated and ambitious, eager to contribute to a growing teamInterest in heritage engineering is a plusDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience) : Experience in the aerospace sector is advantageous, though not requiredTechnologies : Proficiency with inspection gauges and engineering toolsFamiliarity with propeller maintenance and overhaul processesHow to apply : If you're ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and passionate team, we'd love to hear from you!
