Job description

Our client in Bicester is looking for a Part time Cat B Van driver, to work Monday to Thursday (this is a part time driving role)

Working Hours Salary

  • 12.82 per hour PAYE Adv
  • Monday to Thursday
  • start time 0900 hours
  • Minimum 8 hour s a day

Job Description :

As a Cat B van driver, you will be required to assist the 2nd driver in delivering charitable goods to residential properties, this is a physically demanding role. Extremely customer focused and comfortable speaking to people acting as the face of the company. Must be extremely fit due to the nature of the work involving manual handling duties. You must have a valid and up to date Cat B UK driving licence

About the role

  • Ensuring loads arrive on time and in good condition
  • Ensuring good communication – Informing site of any delays, accidents, breakdowns or discrepancies
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
  • This is a part time role, 4 not 5 days a week (Monday to Thursday)

  • Physically fit
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to adapt to changing demands
  • Ability to communicate both orally and written
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, cooperative and reliable
  • A positive and flexible approach towards team ethic
  • Diligent and organised
  • Accurately managing all your documentation, ensuring it is completed and submitted correctly and on time
