A lovely Nursery in Maida Vale is looking for a qualified Early Years Teachers to join their team.The nursery are looking for someone who is warm, caring, kind and passionate about childcare.They have vacacancies working with the 12-16 months & 16 to 25months with a maximum of 15 children in each room,This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to work :
- Monday to Friday (40 hours maximum)
- Shift work between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Thursday
- Every Friday you will finish at 2pmThe team works on a 40-hour weekly shift basis, ensuring a balanced and structured schedule where the teachers can finish at 1pm, 4pm and 6pm, They also ensure they don't put more than 2 x 6pm shifts a week.The nursery operates with a unique Friday schedule, closing at 1 PM, with teachers finishing their workday by 2 PM.The Manager is looking for highly motivated, experienced and passionate Level 3 qualified practitioners who have a love for childcare.If you meet the following requirements then please apply today :
- Level 3 Qualified in Childcare preferred
- Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one)
- Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS
- Excellent communication skills both written & spoken
- Experience of working with early years especially babiesYou will be required to carry out the following duties :
- Working in a team and alongside room leader
- Follow nurseries policies and procedures
- Sharing innovative new ideas
- Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times
- Carry out observations and planning on key children
- Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis
