Job description

Due to internal promotions, we have two new opportunities for Lairage Operatives to join our friendly team in Llanidloes, Wales.

Working Hours :

Shift one – 5 : 30am start until end of production (Mon-Fri)

Shift two – 12 : 00pm – 20 : 00 (Sun-Thurs)

  • this shift is required one in 5 weeks

Pay Rate : from £12.00 to £13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that all tasks are carried out in a manner to operate & comply with the Animal Welfare Management Systems and Health & Safety procedures
  • Responsible for Animal Welfare, Health & Safety, Hygiene and Operational matters within the lairage, and raise any concerns with the Lairage Supervisor and / or Senior Animal Welfare Officer in the first instance
  • Enter accurately & quickly all data from ear tags as required at a speed required to ensure effective operation of the production line
  • Undertake assigned daily duties in a manner to ensure continual adherence to certification requirements whilst ensure that customer brand integrity is not compromised.
