About the Role

As Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the electrical systems that power high-speed production lines in a state-of-the-art production facility. Working on a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern, you will be at the heart of ensuring operational excellence, safety and reliability.

Key Tasks

Reactive, preventive and corrective maintenance on cutting-edge packaging machinery and site services

Ensure smooth operation of equipment; Motors, Inverter Drives, PLC's, Control Systems

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues swiftly to minimise downtime

Optimise and enhance automation systems to boost reliability and efficiency

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance

Key Requirements :

Time served Electrical Engineer, min HNC (or equivalent)

Min 3-5 years in industrial electrical systems, with knowledge of PLCs, SCADA and automated control systems

Knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal, AS-I Profibus

Experience of boilers, CHP plant, heating / cooling systems

Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Competencies :

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Safety-first mindset and meticulous attention to detail

Physically fit; walking, climbing, working at heights and lifting up to 30 lbs as part of daily duties
