Job descriptionAerospace background with a minimum of degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering Proven record of producing solutions to diverse engineering projects Ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience within the aerospace industry and a repair design background Develop structurally acceptable and cost-effective repair schemes for a wide variety of aerospace components, both metallic and composite. Job Title : Repair Engineer

Salary : £37 -40K per annum
Hours : Full time. Monday - Friday, days regular with flexible hours
Here at The Recruitment Co, we are recruiting a repair Engineer to work for a company based in Blackwood on a full time, permanent contract.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Reporting to the engineering manager as a repair engineer,
- you will be required to provide a high level of support to the workshop and design repair schemes under our EASA / UK CAA 145 and UK CAA Part 21J approval.
- Ideally you will be familiar with aircraft engine nacelles, composites materials, repair design practices and procedures and have a sound understanding of aerospace repair processes.
- You will also be required to liaise with OEM's providing in-depth reports from time to time.
