VANRATH are recruiting a Groundworker to work on Social Housing maintenance projects for a large, leading Construction Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Remuneration :
27,560 + van / fuel card / package
Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Foreman in producing a quality product within the contract periodUnderstand, implement and adhere to SHEQ requirementsEnsure you complete the full sequence of events on PDA and the completion of jobs for invoicingEfficient use of the Impact systemAdhere to the Client contract KPI's and, target dates and timeframesProvide a high quality service to tenants, specifically within domestic properties that are either occupied or voidWork in accordance with any training and instructions given and bring to the attention of the employer any shortcomings and defects in the management systems and protective measuresAssist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including :Compliance with specification and SOR codesAdherence to the sequence of events for each job on the PDAEnsure van stock is processed and managed accordinglyEnsure that your work is carried out the highest quality and within a reasonable amount of timeEnsure any additional work is captured and communicated to the relevant person, so that the company can invoice for additional work completedCompliant in timeframes allocated of jobs, ensure target dates are metCompliance with materials / workmanship schedulesMaintain and care for all company toolsUse appropriate safety equipment, wear appropriate clothing / uniformEnsure areas of work are left clean, tidy and safe at all timesBe responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policyLiaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.Be responsible for your own safety and all other around youMake every effort to attend mandatory courses relevant to your roleMaterial co-ordination and organisationEnsure accurate / timely completion of any relevant site based documentationThe Ideal Person :
Relevant industry training and qualificationsPrevious experience in a similar roleCSR CardExcellent communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to demonstrate good teamwork valuesFull, valid, clean driving licenseMaintenance experience is ideal
