Sheet Metal Worker

SHEET METAL WORKERWe are recruiting for an experienced Welder to work for our client who are based in Hope Valley.THE DUTIES OF A SHEET METAL WORKER :

• Mig / Tig and spot welding experience is essential.
• Fabricate and weld to a high quality, making bespoke products, sheet metal components.
• Weld / fabricate frames from mild steel, stainless, angle iron and hollow section – to a high standard.
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS :
• Apprentice trained or time served fabricator / welder
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Mathematical minded to work out tolerances.THE HOURS : This is a 12 months contract
• 38 Hours per week, 4 day week, rotating shifts, Monday – Thursday / Tuesday-Friday or
• 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).THE PAY : You will earn an hourly rate of £17.50 per hour depending on experienceThe salary will be determined following a weld test / interview.COMPANY BENEFITS :
