User Experience Writer

Our client is a large international investment manager who are growing their Manchester office in St Peter's Square, and are looking for a bright and intellectually curious individual to join as a UX Writer / Content Designer.

In this role, you’ll be collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team based across London and Manchester. Your job will involve understanding what customers need / want and, in collaboration with other designers, solve problems and design sensible experiences.

We are looking for a candidate with :

• Minimum 4 years in the content design / UX writing space, writing for transactional journeys, apps, websites, dashboards, etc.
• Familiarity of the gov.uk content guidelines, you know content best practice and you’re an expert at writing for accessibility
• The ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple, plain English language
• Experience to drive the production of content and lead the content sign-off process with product, business stakeholders, legal and compliance
• Experience in finance, asset management or other regulated industries strongly desired
• Recent experience working on client acquisition / onboarding journeys would be a plus

We are looking for an adaptable designer with curiosity and willingness to learn. The ability to think strategically and collaborate on projects is key.

This is an initial 6 month contract role with high potential for a long-term opportunity. The role will require travel to the London office once a month (expenses paid for).
