Cleaning Operative – Sutton – FM Service Provider - £12.21 per hour

Exciting opportunity for a cleaner to work for an established cleaning company situated in Sutton. CBW are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to be based in a commercial building. The successful candidates will have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial building.

Details / Hours :

Monday to Friday
Between 07 : 00am to 17 : 00pm start
2.5 hours per day
Cover work
Immediate start

Key duties & Responsibilities :

Check that all cleaning equipment is safe to use before commencing work

Undertake suction cleaning, sweeping and washing of all floor areas

Emptying waste bins and receptacles

Clean toilets and wash room areas

Clean fixtures and fittings ensuring that high and low surfaces are free from dust and dirt

Carpet cleaning, stripping / sealing / polishing of floors

To maintain store cupboards and replenish allocated cleaning stock / materials

Provide a rapid response when reacting to spillages and other cleaning or waste

Report any building defects

Paying particular attention to health and safety matters including possible hazards

To be fully conversant with security, fire and emergency procedures

To comply with the company’s policies, management plans and procedures

Requirements :

Have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial environment

To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor / Manager

Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices

To always act in a professional manner

Be honest, reliable, and hard working

Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills

Be eligible to work in the UK
