MacGregor Black is delighted to partner with a Family-owned Business in their search for an Operations Coordinator .
This permanent position is based in Stockport and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, while also supporting basic finance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee stock management, logistics, and supplier communications to ensure efficiency.
- Manage online sales transactions, track costs, and handle customer communication.
- Process purchase invoices, verify transport costs, and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., Sage).
- Contribute to stock reconciliation, inventory control, and liaise with suppliers to maintain seamless operations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and improve overall business efficiency.
- Handle document organisation, data entry, and general office duties.
- Assist with basic IT queries and coordinate with internal / external support teams.
- Support operational and financial reporting and assist in audit preparations.
What are we looking for?
Experience in an operational or logistics role, ideally within FMCG, supply chain, or a similar fast-moving environment.A proactive, “hands-on” approach with a problem-solving mindset.Basic finance knowledge (e.g., invoice processing, cost tracking, or financial record-keeping).Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic business environment.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that truly values and takes care of its employees.
