The Opportunity?

We are looking for an ambitious recent graduate with an interest in marketing and events to join a portfolio of small businesses based in Eynsham on their newly formed graduate program, created by us at Thompson & Terry Recruitment.

This is a really varied graduate opportunity where you will gain valuable experience in all parts of the businesses including events planning,sales, customer service, PA duties, administration, and of course marketing.

This is, therefore, a really unique opportunity to expand your skillset, your practical experience?and learn first-hand about everything required to successfully run a business.?

This position will predominantly be based in Eynsham with regular travel to various Oxfordshire based events, however once you are comfortable in the role, there will be the opportunity for hybrid working too.??

Events?-a large proportion of your role will be supporting, planningand also attending and hosting local business-oriented events?

Marketing?- responsible for the day-to-day management of all social media channels, email marketing, creating content for thecompany website and external websites, copywriting and getting involved with radio too

Business?- working closely with the MD around the planning and implementation of the growth strategy for the business, regularly updating the business plan, and creating clear and defined goals focused on business growth

PA Duties -?supporting the MD in a 'PA’ capacity, diary and inbox management?

Administration?& Customer Service - responsible for monitoring the company inbox and telephone line, handling new enquiries and other general office administration?

Sales?- taking an active involvement in talking to other local businesses, pitching the business at events and attending regular networking events and client meetings?too

As part of thisgraduate role, you will have the opportunity to build a solid career path and will be given the training and support needed to earn a promotion typically within c.12 months, following your success as a Graduate Marketing & Events Executive.??

Requirements

Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)?

A genuine interest in building a career and motivated and self-disciplined with the hunger to really learn

Strong and proven communication skills, both written and verbal?

Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritise a high workload?

A genuine desire to learn how a business works and be involved in supporting its exciting time of growth?

As a large part of this role will be related to business events, the successful candidate must also be willing to attend events outside of standard working hours
