Job Role :
Leading, managing, and developing the MIS teamEnsuring the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to optimise software systems and provide ongoing supportManaging and overseeing the business software applications, including ERP, WMS, CRM, and other internal systemsEnsuring licensing compliance for all software and managing renewals and contracts with vendorsDeveloping and implementing software update processes, ensuring timely upgradesCollaborating with business units to identify software solutions that improve operational efficiencyProviding proactive recommendations for improvements based on software performance and user feedbackManaging relationships with software vendorsNegotiate contracts with vendors and ensure service-level agreements are metWorking closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration between software and infrastructure systemsOverseeing data integrity and backup systems for all business softwareBe responsible for overseeing software security, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as GDPR, data access controls, and encryptionEnsuring security measures are in place, security is effectively managed across software systemsSupporting the implementation of software across other group companies and departments, in collaboration with the PMO and Infrastructure teamsSupporting end-users giving guidance on system usage and troubleshootingDeveloping / maintaining reports and dashboards to provide insights to business leadership for informed decision-makingEnsuring data from software systems is accessible, accurate, and actionableCollaborating with other IT departments and business units to define KPIs and performance metrics for software systemsResearching new technologies to ensure the software landscape remains competitive and efficientImplementing new software features or upgrades that improve business processesValuate current systems and assessing the roadmaps of software suppliersEngaging in ongoing research and evaluation of new technologies, assessing potential updates and improvements for current systems based on vendor roadmaps and emerging technologies.Skills and experience :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering preferred not essentialAt least 5 years in software management and vendor managementExperience in ERP, CRM, WMS, and similar systemsIn-depth knowledge of software systems and managing vendor relationshipsExceptional communication, project management, and team collaboration abilitiesStrong organisational skills with a keen eye for detailExpertise in data security practices and managing backup solutionsAdvanced understanding of computer hardware, software, protocols, and systemsExtensive experience working with large-scale systems and databasesComprehensive understanding of data security policies and proceduresExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to simplify complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholdersProven leadership and interpersonal skills with strong project management expertisePlease Note : We do not contact or write to unsuccessful candidates.
