Job description
  • Nurse Seekers are thrilled to be working on behalf of a unique, ‘OUTSTANDING’ setting near Peckham, London. This setting is very focused on finding the right candidate for them so can consider you whether you have a Childcare qualification or not! All you need to have is experience working within the early years’ as well as bringing creativity and curiosity with you! This setting follows an enquiry-based learning approach, heavily inspired by Reggio Emilia.Key Responsibilities;
  • To work as an effective member of the nursery team delivering flexible, high-quality education and care that meets the needs of the young children and their families
  • Be passionate about creating an environment where children can develop and learn.
  • To monitor assess and mentor the staff within your team, and to organise the efficient deployment of staff throughout the day to ensure that the activities and routine promote the children’s best outcomes.
  • Give the children empowerment and do not attempt to use position of power to influence children’s behaviour.
  • Fully meet the diverse needs of every child.
  • Demonstrate a high regard for safeguarding
  • Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Benefits;
