Role Overview :

As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on HR matters, conducting investigations, and leading disciplinary meetings. Your experience will play a key role in supporting both management and employees, ensuring that policies are applied fairly and consistently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide professional advice on HR issues to managers and employees across the organisation.
  • Support and lead investigations into employee matters, ensuring a thorough and impartial process.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance meetings, ensuring all procedures are followed in line with company policies and employment law.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation.
  • Support employee relations and contribute to fostering a positive working environment.

Required Experience :

  • Minimum of 12 months' experience in a HR role, ideally within a similar advisory or generalist position.
  • Proven experience conducting disciplinary hearings and investigations.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Desirable Skills :

  • CIPD qualification (or working towards).
  • Experience with HR software or systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
