We are looking for a Merchandising Director to join a multichannel apparel and footwear brand. Our client has ambitious growth plans and are looking for a strong leader with multichannel retailing experience who has previously navigated a business or large department through a period of significant growth.

You will be developing and implementing strategies to align with the business objectives. You must be a strong leader who can manage, motivate and lead the merchandising team through the planned growth.

Responsibilities :

• Analyse market trends, consumer data and competitors to identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with other team in the business to ensure a cohesive and relevant product variety
• Oversee the planning, allocation and replenishment process to optimise inventory and maximise sales
• Take lead in the execution of seasonal launches, promotional events and markdown strategies
• Be able to maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate terms

It is essential you have a strong analytical ability to be able to use data to drive action within the team. We are looking for an excellent communicator to create excellent working relationships with suppliers, third parties and stakeholders.
