Time Served Fabricator Welder

PERMANENT OPPORTUNITYKenect Recruitment are looking to recruit time served Fabricator Welders for our client based in Burton on TrentThe Company : The company offers bespoke engineering solutions to overcome to manufacturing challenges and obstacles. Due to continue growth, they now have a fantastic opportunity for a Fabricator / Welder to join their small, growing team on a permanent basis.Job Role : The main function and responsibility of the Fabricator / Welder will be to work as part of a Small Production team to assisting in the manufacturing, installation, and fault finding of machinery / equipment.Duties : Good working knowledge of mechanical engineering.Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Assisting with Machine Fitting and AssemblyGood understanding of current environmental and H&S issues.Experience in fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activities.Ad hoc CNC duties (both milling & turning)Ad hoc Welding duties.Operating various pieces of Production equipment / machineryUsing handheld tools to assembly products.Some site work will be involved to assist in the installation of Machinery.Quality control duties to ensure production is to the highest of standard.Technical Knowledge / Qualifications : Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a workshop environment is essential.Previous experience working within fabrication and welding is essential.Previous CNC experience (milling) experience is desirable.Must be able to able to read and interpret technical drawings.Must be able to work both individually as well as part of a small team.Must be a strong communicator who can build relationship with colleagues and clients.Day Shifts (Apply online only) Monday - Thursday and (Apply online only) FridaysSalary paying upto £38000 Depending on experienceImmediate interviews availablePlease call (phone number removed) or email your CV to (url removed) for more informationThis role is being advertised by Kenect Professional which is a trading name of Kenect Recruitment Ltd, who are acting as an employment agency regarding this vacancy
