Technical Team Leader (Construction)

We are currently working with a construction equipment supplier based in Brentwood Essex as they look to add a Technical Team Leader to their division.The primary focus of this role is to assist and support Sales Engineers in meeting customer requirements by providing a comprehensive first class technical service.Responsibilities : Maintaining the operational performance of the Technical OfficeUnderstand company Technical design strategy.Production of accurate and economical drawings, schedules and quotationsSafety and well-being of all staff, customers and visitorsMaintenance and upkeep of all Company assets, property and services in conjunction with Facilities Manager.Provide technical advice on all products to customers and internal sales engineersActively promote the supply of a first class technical service and lead by example Collaboration : Develop relationships with Sales Engineers to promote efficient use of Technical resource.Representing the Technical Team to collaborate with and support other regions and functionsWorking closely with other TTL's to share relevant informationWork closely with the EMT to ensure consistent, efficient working practices Support : Recruitment of suitable staffSafeguarding the induction / further development of Technical staffCommunication of all key information to their Technical teams. Professional Requirements : HNC Minimum in a Construction related subject i.e. Civil EngineeringManagement SkillsHealth and SafetyExperience in managing a team of comparable sizeExperience in management and staff developmentGood experience in all aspects of Formwork and Falsework designsScaffolding experienceStrong, managerial personality able to lead and motivate a teamStrong on communication and social skillsObjective-orientatedStrong work ethic, open and reliableOutstanding organisational skills Other Criteria : Good knowledge of AutoCAD / PERIcadGood knowledge of Design Analysis Programmes This is a unique opportunity that is not to be missed.
