Job description

A fantastic opportunity to join a Bourne based company working as part of the Marketing Team, this role will provide an in-house design service for the business. This includes the production of packaging, marketing and sales collateral, across print and digital platforms. The Marketing Designer will be responsible for the creative representation of their various businesses and brands, whilst adhering to brand guidelines and technical / legal requirements.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

  • Design and print catalogues, flyers, booklets, packaging, stationery, e-mails, web banners, presentations, advertising, promotions, social media etc. according to brief, brand and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Digital & Marketing colleagues to complete above mentioned briefs.
  • Contribute to the creative development of new products, their packaging and support materials.
  • Work with technical department to design product packaging that is legally compliant and technically accurate.
  • Manage digital assets (video & images), prepare them for web and print usage.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills :

Essential

  • Graphic design qualification -minimum 3 years’ work experience.
  • Experience using Adobe creative suite (InDesign, illustrator and photoshop).
  • Keen understanding of layout, typography, colour.
  • Expert eye for creative - distinguishable design / artwork between customer types (B2C, B2B, B2B2C) and target markets.
  • Good team working skills- an ability to work as an effective, efficient member of cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work on multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Good problem solver with good communication skills.
  • Organised with strong time-management skills.

  • Full time working hours : Monday - Friday in Bourne office, some flexibility to work from home 2 days a week after probation period.
