Security Monitor - Part Time (TS / SCI w Polygraph Clearance Required)

The Security Monitor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard classified information and maintain effective control of uncleared personnel on the site. This the position has a combination of escorting, general maintenance, and materiel movement duties. Regulates access to classified facilities and information by performing a variety of duties :

• Provide effective access controls and physical security as required
• Provide security support in both office and / or project (outdoor) work environments
• Maintain compliance with all applicable security policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
• Assist with checking in uncleared personnel to site and ensuring that they are badged correctly.
• Visually observe and direct the activities of visitors and uncleared workers under escort to ensure they do not have access to protected information and systems.
• Prevent prohibited items from entering the facility.
• Ensure that all protected material is stored away or covered and properly announce when visitors are entering the facility and area where work is to be conducted.
• Ensure all visitors and uncleared workers are escorted out of the facility at the end of a workday or task.
• Work as part of a larger FLUOR team at site
• Other duties as assigned
