Electrician - Estates Maintenance | Wolverhampton | Competitive Salary + On-Call AllowanceWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established organisation in Wolverhampton that is looking to expand its Maintenance Team with the addition of experienced and qualified Electrician. This is a great opportunity to join a professional estates environment with varied responsibilities and long-term prospects.The Role : The successful Electrician will be reporting to the Technical Supervisor, you will carry out a range of electrical maintenance tasks across a diverse portfolio of buildings. This includes fault-finding, repairs, and modifications to electrical systems. Some cross-trade flexibility may be required, with relevant training provided where needed.Benefits : £33,000 salary30 days annual leave + bank holidaysOne place of workExcellent public sector pension schemeTraining and development Key Duties : Electrical maintenance, repairs, and alterations across multiple buildingsDiagnosing and resolving faults efficientlyEnsuring work complies with industry regulations and safety standardsSupporting the wider estates and building services operationsRequirements : A completed apprenticeship or equivalent recognised training in electrical installationNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical InstallationCity & Guilds 2360 Part 2 or approved equivalentCompletion of a recognised course covering BS7671 : 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (with current amendments)Post-apprenticeship experience with proven competencyFull UK driving licence (own transport may be required for out-of-hours work)Desirable Skills : Experience working in commercial or industrial settingsFamiliarity with Building Management Systems (BMS)Inspection and Testing qualificationsFirst Aid certification (training will be provided if needed)This role includes participation in an on-call rota, So the successful electrician will be expected to work this rota.
