Job description

Tradestech Recruitment are seeking talented electricians to join our growing team in Scotland. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar farms across the country, contributing to our mission of driving the transition to a sustainable future.   The role is very fluent, it can also involve some domestic work, potentially some social housing etc so the right candidate needs to be willing to get stuck in wherever the need arises.   Essentially the renewable energy side of the business will have 2 arms being install and planned and reactive maintenance so again role fluidity is expected.Highlights of the Role : Permanent or freelance position with a competitive salary range of GBP22.00 - GBP24.00 per hour. Travel and digs provided (Stay away sustenance bonus offered) Opportunity to work on exciting projects in the renewable energy sector, primarily on solar farms Flexible employment options, including full-time or freelance arrangements, to suit your preferences. Company van provided. Preferred Requirements : Previous experience in wiring solar panels and inverters, which is highly advantageous Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of projects Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve any electrical issues that may arise Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and project managers Willingness to travel to various locations across Scotland, with accommodation and travel expenses provided by the client Preferred Qualifications : Minimum of JIB Gold certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the industry Relevant electrical qualifications and training, ensuring you meet the high standards required for this role A valid driver's license, as you may be required to travel to project sites across Scotland
