We're looking for a practitioner to join The Northern Learning Disabilities Team based in North Norfolk. Covering North Norfolk and Broadland, our service provides an integrated Health and Social Care approach to assessment and support in the community. Norfolk County Council and Norfolk Community Health and Care Trust (NCH&C) deliver together a single service for adults with a Learning Disability.

About You

You will be able to work under pressure, be well organised and able to effectively prioritise. You will need to have a positive attitude and enjoy finding creative and innovative solutions. You will have excellent communication skills, record keeping and keyboard skills. You should have a commitment to excellent customer service and multi-agency working. You will build strong partnerships with service users and their families, be ambitious about what people can achieve and confidently explore ideas for positive outcomes.

Job Description

We're looking to appoint either a Supported Assistant Practitioner (Scale F) or an experienced Assistant Practitioner (Scale G) and require a CV and Supporting Statement from you. Our Supported Assistant Practitioners (Scale F) join our 9-month, bespoke support programme, enabling you to progress to an Assistant Practitioner role (Scale G) subject to satisfactory programme completion.
