Systems Engineering – Asset Management

Location : Barrow (Hybrid Working | 2 days on-site)

Salary : £60,000 - £72,000 + Up to 10% Bonus

Are you an experienced Senior Consultant Engineer with expertise in Systems Engineering and Infrastructure projects? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global leader in advanced defence and security technologies. With a long-standing reputation for innovation, this organisation is at the forefront of supporting complex, large-scale infrastructure developments for critical national projects.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Developing & Improving Processes : Oversee and enhance Engineering Management processes, covering everything from Requirements Management to Handover and Acceptance.
  • Leadership & Guidance : Provide technical leadership, coaching, and support to Project Managers, ensuring the effective implementation of processes across multiple projects.
  • Industry Knowledge : Maintain awareness of ongoing developments in Systems Engineering, especially in relation to asset management and Soft Landings Framework.
  • Integration : Work closely with multi-discipline teams across various projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal delivery.

Your Skills & Experience :

  • Proven experience in Systems Engineering, specifically with large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Requirements Management, Handover / Acceptance processes, and asset management.
  • Broad understanding of design, engineering, maintenance, commissioning, and operational processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a STEM subject or relevant engineering discipline.
  • Desirable : Experience with the BSRIA Soft-Landings Framework, membership of a relevant professional engineering body (e.g. Chartered Engineer).
