The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team at our site in Fosdyke, working 18 : 00 - 06 : 00 on a 223-shift pattern.
2 on, 2 off, 3 on, - 2 off, 2 on, 3 off
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of engineering services and technical support to the business, with focus on reducing downtime proactively using the sites PM software.
Duties to include :
- The execution of day-to-day maintenance tasks, including line improvements
- The provision and implementation of solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime
- Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance
- Involvement in engineering projects from inception to delivery as and when required
- Continually drive towards a PPM culture
- To assist in setting of machines in conjunction with the operations team
- The provision of a first-class engineering service
- Providing daily progress updates to the Site engineering lead
- Working together with internal and external teams
- Compliance with all health and safety, quality, and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with engineering stores, on parts used, to maintain the restock cycle
- Work alongside production with a “one team” mindset
