TPF Recruitment is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Maidstone who are looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their experienced team across a general accounts and tax focused position. This position will enable you to work very closely with the partner, and support them with the larger, more prestigious clients of the business, where you'll be able to learn and develop advisory skills in areas such as advising on business transactions and general corporate finance.
As an Accounts and Tax Manager, you will report directly to the partner and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to significantly sized groups. Dependent on your interests, there will be an opportunity to support the partner with more technical advisory project work, but this isn't essential. You will be ACA / ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senir or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero / Quickbooks would be advantageous
