Job Title : Training and Development Coordinator – up to 6 month fixed term contract with the possibility the role may become permanent.

Team : HR

Responsible to : HR Manager

Hours : 37

Salary : Scale 5, Point 12 £25,796

Benefits : Flexitime and Hybrid working, Cycle to Work, Employee Assistance Programme, TechScheme

Leave : 29 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 33 after 5 years

Purpose of the job

Working in a small but busy HR team, you will be responsible for the overview of the training and development requirements of the organisation. This will include mandatory training during the employee’s probationary period and developing individual training plans, to aid their development and growth and support GIPSIL in succession planning.

You will monitor training requests, allocation of training resources and report on the opportunities delivered and the organisations position on compliance and aspirational training and development support. You will be pro-active in suggesting improvements to the Staff Development Programme and the training itself based on stakeholder feedback.
