Ecology has a fantastic opportunity for a creative and strategic Customer Marketing Manager.

This role will be responsible for :

  • Attracting new customers to Ecology through traditional and digital marketing, brand raising PR, and nurture paths.
  • Retaining existing Members and establishing Ecology as their financial services provider of choice through development of customer journeys and Member engagement interventions.
  • Representing the marketing and communications team on projects that affect our Members, developing plans and materials to effectively communicate and engage on changes, product launches, etc.

What will I be doing?

  • You'll develop a customer acquisition strategy to attract new customers and grow our business, taking responsibility for driving customers through the conversion funnel.
  • You'll identify opportunities for consumer PR to elevate our brand, while protecting brand sentiment. This will include events and sponsorships.
  • You'll manage our marketing communication platform and set up automated customer journeys and nurture paths to drive conversions and applications, while maintaining the integrity and compliance of our distribution lists.
  • You'll develop marketing campaigns to support specific products and services, and to raise Ecology brand awareness, whilst remaining compliant with all relevant regulations, including financial promotions.
  • You'll support our Member Engagement Strategy, contributing content ideas and events (e.g. webinars with relevant third parties) to demonstrate our expertise and amplify our competitive points of difference.
  • You'll be accountable for specific projects that impact our existing Members, ensuring we have sufficient plans in place to engage and communicate on what's happening, why, and the impact on them.
  • You'll do everything within the regulatory and compliance rules of the industry we operate in and our internal approval processes.
  • You'll manage our paid for digital activities, working with our agency to maximise results and return on investment. You may also work closely with and / or manage other agencies we work with.
  • You'll support the wider marketing and communications team by bringing your expertise, input and experience to bear in all we do.
  • You'll develop the data and business intelligence requirements to help report and highlight your successes and to guide you in future plans.
  • You'll be creative, with a good attention to detail, and the ability to think strategically in all you do - focusing on outcomes, and not just outputs.
  • You'll manage our customer satisfaction survey process, including those schemes with external providers, and input into our Consumer Duty outcome testing criteria.
  • You'll market to mortgage intermediaries and commercial organisations that could place lending business with us.
