Senior Process Safety Engineer

EFAB Industrial Solutions, a leading Engineering Construction business based in Immingham, are seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join their successful team.The Senior Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for delivering complex and challenging technical process safety solutions to clients in the form of stand-alone consultancy, acting as subject matter expert across a range of projects and technical areas and for guiding and checking the technical solutions of more junior Engineers as necessary, on time and to budget, in accordance with all relevant Engineering and Company procedures.Key Responsibilities of Senior Process Safety Engineer

• Conducting Process Safety activities, e.g. HAZOP, HAZID, SWIFT, LOPA, SIL, ATEX, DSEAR etcetera
• Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) aspects of projects are maintained to relevant acceptable standards
• Assisting in setting HSE criteria for projects and in the preparation and content of the Process Safety Plan and Environmental Plan
• Acting as HSE expert for all projects, supporting project management and engineering disciplines with Process Safety concerns and queries
• Gathering & compiling Process Safety and Environmental information
• Establishing risk tolerances & Preparing Process Safety Basis of Safety
• Devising suitable and sufficient Hazard Studies to meet client requirements
