518-24 - Senior Lecturer in Higher Education Development (Health Practice)

We are looking for an energetic and experienced educator with a healthcare practice background to join our team of specialist academic and learning developers in the Centre for Innovation and Development in Education. A strong collaborator, the post holder will bring professional expertise in relation to the distinctive pedagogies and assessments of healthcare practice education. They will take a lead role in the creation of high-quality education development opportunities tailored to educators in healthcare practice, including through working with others to develop credit-bearing and income-generating courses. The postholder should be an effective teacher with a strong pedagogical underpinning to their practice, have an up-to-date awareness of developments in healthcare education and be a capable and effective user of educational technologies. They should be able to prioritise, stage and plan areas of work, think innovatively as well as practically, and bring others on board to successfully and sustainably launch, embed or complete initiatives.
