- To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Psychologist registered with the HCPC
Your key responsibilities include :
Contribute to the provision and development of the psychology service within the hospital / unitProvide psychological input in line with the agreed service provision, and the identified risks and needs of the patientsUndertake the role of Psychologist for a designated ward(s) and / or group of patientsWith support from wider MDT / SMT you will co-ordinate delivery of psychological assessment and intervention from other psychology staff including qualified psychologists, trainee psychologists, assistant psychologists and studentTo act as a point of liaison between the inpatient psychology pathway and the community psychology pathwayThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
Ability to prioritiseExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAble to keep accurate recordsAbility to work on your own as well as part of a teamKnowledge of safeguarding legislationExperience of working with people with Autism, severe communication difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, including physical and sensory needsExperienced working with multi-disciplinary teamThe successful Clinical Psychologist / Head of Therapy will receive an excellent salary of £81,432 per annum.
