Job Title : School Crossing Patrol Officer Location : Harrow Employer : Pertemps Recruitment Partnership for London Borough of Harrow Contract Type : Temporary Assignment Hours of Work : Monday to Friday 1 hour in the AM, 1 hour in the PM Specific hours to be confirmed) Overview of a School Crossing Patrol Officer : Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within London Borough of Harrow for a self-driven and motivated School Crossing Patrol Officer to join an expanding team. The role of a School Crossing Patrol Officer has a competitive pay rate of £14.25 per hour, increasing in line with London Borough of Harrow Pay Scale increments. Other benefits include, accruing up to 28 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to apply for any internal permanent roles within London Borough of Harrow. The Main Purpose :

• Help children and adults cross the road safely at designated points, using a school crossing patrol sign (lollipop) to signal drivers to stop
• Use and report any faults in the hazard lights at or near crossings
• Report any vehicles that disobey the patrol to the supervisor or police and complete paperwork on any accidents or incidents
• Maintain control over children waiting to cross the road, ensuring they follow instructions
