Job Role : Maintenance Engineer Location : Northampton, Northamptonshire Salary : £53,000-£55,000 + Overtime Available @ 1.5x Hours : 4 on 4 off (2 days 6 : 00-18 : 00 / 2 nights 18 : 00-6 : 00) – 18 days off after every 7th rotation Job Type : Full time, PermanentThe package : Overtime available at 1.5X33 days holiday (Including Public Holidays)Committed to ongoing training and developmentCompany Pension schemeHealthcare schemeCompany Sick payOn site parkingCycle to work schemeThe Duties : Attend breakdowns on site machinery & conveyor systemCarry out PPM’s and reactive breakdowns and maintenance in a timely manner to minimise machinery downtime.Liaise with Engineering management & fellow engineers to resolve breakdowns efficiently, professionally & in a timely mannerFollow health & safety proceduresAttend training & courses for further development, in line with trainingWorking with other engineers on the team to maintain and repair plant machinery.The Requirements : Minimum 3 years’ experience as a maintenance engineer in a packaging, manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry (essential)A good balance of Mechanical / Electrical Fault Finding, Repairs with an electrical bias preferred (essential)Previous experience repairing & fault finding on components such as Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyor Systems, Converters, Inverters or PLCs (essential)Apprentice trained with a minimum NVQ level...
