Position : Small Tool FitterLocation : Herne Bay, KentSalary : £30,000 - £35,000Hours : Monday – Friday - Full-timeThe Small Tool Fitter Role : This role will involve servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small tools and small plant equipment within the workshop You will be responsible for breakdown repairs, routine maintenance, and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for use.Roles & Responsibilities Of The Small Tool Fitter : - Carry out repairs, routine servicing, and maintenance on petrol, 2-stroke, diesel, and electrical equipment.- Fault-find and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues carrying out necessary repairs.- Ensure compliance paperwork is completed accurately.- Perform safety and function testing on all serviced equipment.- Maintain service records and documentation to track repairs and inspections.What We’re Looking For : - Experience as a Plant / Tool Fitter or in a similar hands-on mechanical role within the plant, tool, or hire industry, with a strong background in equipment servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.- PAT Testing Certificate.What We Offer : - Competitive salary with overtime opportunities.- Company pension scheme.- Opportunities for training and career development.If you’re ready to join a dynamic team that values its people and delivers top-tier customer service, we’d love to hear from you!
