Job description
We are currently recruiting for : Team Leader (3 positions)
The Role :
Riverbank Cottage offers a psychologically informed, therapeutic environment to support young people with complex trauma based behaviour. The service will provide three components which include Residential Care, Education and Health offer.
In consultation with the Registered Manager, the Team Leader will assist in managing the overall daily operations at Riverbank Cottage working with children and young people in a residential setting. Key accountabilities will include
- Provide direct line management to a small number of Childcare Workers.
- Develop and implement care and risk plans based on individualised children’s need in partnership with referring authorities, therapeutic services, senior management and education settings.
- Model best practice in terms of providing high quality care for young people.
- be well versed in children’s homes legislation, regulations and inspection framework, in order to support the safe and effectively delivery of care
