Pay : £26 per hour CIS, £20 per hour PAYE

Location : Romsey

We are due to commence work on a large industrial project in Romsey in January 2025 and we are looking for a number of steel fixers. Any applicants must have heavy industrial experience and hold a valid Blue CSCS card. This is a temporary position for around 4 months and is based on 45 hours per week.

As a Steel Fixer, your duties will involve :

• Positioning and securing steel reinforcement bars or reinforcement steel mesh to reinforce concrete structures.
• Reading and interpreting reinforcement plans / drawings and reinforcement schedules.
• Setting out the work from provided instructions.
• Cutting and bending steel bars or mesh to the required length / shape using bolt cutters, guillotines, or power saws.
You must have :
• CSCS Card
• NVQ Level 2
• Relevant experience

Standard Hours : Monday to Friday 7 : 30am – 5pm
