Job summary

In this role you will utilise all of your expertise in providing a standard administration function which will ensure the smooth running of the hub, this may be ordering stationery, coordinating rooms, answering telephones and, responding to emails. But in addition to this, and most importantly you are the first 'face' or 'voice' someone wanting help sees or hears, and their experience of us, starts with you.

The role is within the Aldershot service for Inclusion Recovery Hampshire Service. Inclusion Recovery Hampshire is the drug and alcohol treatment and support service for individuals impacted by their own or someone else's use of alcohol or drugs. This is an administrator role with a distinction, you are an important part of a team, making a difference.

Main duties of the job

Full-time administrator (working hours per week) for Inclusion Recovery Hampshire Aldershot Hub.

You will be the face of our service by meeting and greeting those we support with a warm welcome whilst providing an administrative function to the hub in response to need.

Job responsibilities

Please see the Job Description for further details, a summary is below : Provide a full secretarial service to the team. Understand and supervise the confidential referral system. Preserve and uphold the confidentiality of all client information. Maintain filing systems. Management of incoming post and any onward actions required (for example notifying individuals of pertinent updates / information or escalating where necessary). Generating prescriptions and storing Controlled Drug stationery in line with Controlled Drug Protocols. Signpost and provide callers (, other professionals, staff relatives, drug users, other agencies) with educational information and self-help materials. Take responsibility for monitoring stocks and re-ordering these resources. Ordering and management of stock-levels of office equipment, clinical equipment and resource materials. Perform standard office admin and reception duties (including minute taking and typing letters). Maintaining a tidy, clean and welcoming reception space
