East Sussex (Commutable from Brighton, Eastbourne, Worthing, Crawley)

32,000 - £37,000 DOE + Training, Progression & Benefits

A client of mine are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Electrical Engineering Lecturer to share their knowledge and expertise, at their well-established Small Private Training Company located in East Sussex. They have been operating for over 30 years specializing in providing high-quality, engineering apprenticeship programs.

They are ideally looking for somebody to start on either a part-time or full-time permanent basis in September 2024.

Job Description

Teach and mentor level 2-3 apprentices in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, both theoretical and practical
Assess and provide feedback on student progress
Create and update course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of a diverse group of learners

Provide support and guidance to apprentices throughout their training journey

Assess and evaluate student work to ensure they meet the required standards

Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements

Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance the apprenticeship program

Required Skills and Experience

Hold a relevant qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Have substantial industry experience in a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic principles

Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
