Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Social Sciences Teacher ready to take on a new challenge? We are working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Shropshire seeking a full-time Social Sciences Teacher to join their team immediately on a temporary basis . This is a fantastic opportunity to teach engaging and meaningful content to students at KS4 and KS5 , helping them develop a deeper understanding of society, behaviour, and global perspectives.

The Role

  • Position : Social Sciences Teacher
  • Location : Shropshire
  • Start Date : Immediate
  • Contract : Temporary, Full-Time
  • Key Stages : KS4 & KS5
  • Subjects May Include : Sociology, Psychology, Criminology, Health & Social Care (depending on experience)
  • Salary : MPS / UPS (depending on qualifications and experience)

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a relevant degree in a Social Sciences subject
  • Possesses QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
  • Experienced in delivering at least one Social Sciences subject at KS4 and KS5
  • Brings energy, creativity, and adaptability to the classroom
  • Can build positive relationships with students and inspire a love for learning
  • Committed to upholding high academic and behavioural standards
