Skilled Operative (Groundworks)Stowmarket, SuffolkPermanent, Full time (47.5 hours) 7am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday£29,640 - £37,050 (£12 - £15per hour plus) overtime paid at time and a half and training opportunitiesOn call rota : 1 in every 4 weeks(Mon – Sun and evenings)You will receive an extra £100 when on call (whether called out or not)Our client is a drainage services company offering a wide range of services including drain repairs and maintenance, civil engineering and trenchless solutions.They are seeking a skilled and motivated Skilled Groundworker to join their dynamic team. • All aspects of deep drainage
• Manhole construction
• Concreting, block laying and kerb laying (all in confined spaces)
• Hand digging
• Excavation work
• Heavy liftingExperience and Qualifications : Essential Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in a drainage and groundworks position
• Full UK driving license ideally clean but the client will consider candidates with up to 6 pointsDesirable Qualifications (Training Provided if Needed)
• Confined Spaces.
• CSCS
• EUSR SHEA (Water / Utility).
• Street works (NRSWA)
• 360 Excavator.
• Dumper ticket
• Cat and Genny
