Job Title : Business Development ManagerLocation : Ashbourne, DerbyshireType : PermanentIndustry : SalesSalary : £60,000 per annum plus excellent company benefitsWorkchain is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for our clients nationally recognised operations, with office functions based in Derbyshire.The Business Development Manager will have a split focus, to deliver proactive high quality account management and develop sales within their existing customer base and designated market sectors.This role is field based and a permanent position.Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, key responsibilities :

• Manage and develop strong relationships with existing customers
• Plan and implement a development strategy maintaining profitable growth
• Prepare product costing, present options to customers and negotiate terms of business
• Maintain productive professional relationships with key personnel including those in Operations, Sales Support / Order Management, and New Product Development across all company sites
• Take full responsibility or the new customer / new product on boarding process
