Job Description
Alliance Tool Hire is a fast-growing independent tool hire company with 10 branches across the South of England. We are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) & Transport Manager to join our team and build on our safety-first culture.
This role is to be based from either our Mitcham, South London or Horsham, Sussex branch with travel across the depot network required for a minimum of 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities
Transport
- Manage vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs, oversee vehicle checks and respond to incidents, including liasing with insurance providers as required.
- Monitor transport costs, fuel usage, and driver performance to drive efficiency.
- Manage transport-related contracts and relationships with external providers, e.g. vehicle leasing companies, vehicle repair networks.
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation, and company health and safety policies and maintain our FORS accreditation.
Health & Safety
Develop and oversee the company’s health & safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.Conduct regular internal audits, and support external audits, across our depot network and resolve any issues identified.Oversee s...
