Are you passionate about all things UK Agriculture and would welcome the chance to share your knowledge with likeminded people?

I am looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager to join a well-known research group, focused on providing the agricultural sector with the knowledge and information to operate at optimum production and profitability. You will be tasked with holding farmer focused talks, attending industry events and presenting company research / knowledge to technical groups.

This is a highly mixed farming area with a particular focus on the dairy sector so the successful person will be equally comfortable talking to an arable farmer or a dairy farmer.

The ideal person will :

• Have a strong practical background, ideally in the arable sector but this is not essential.
• Be highly motivated, driven and able to manage your own workload.
• A relevant degree at BSc or above, those with foundation degrees and a strong practical background would also be considered.
• FACTS and / or BASIS would be advantageous.
• Be confident in presenting to large groups- this could be through university or young farmers potentially.

In return you will be rewarded with a strong remuneration package to include car allowance of £6600 per annum.
