Maths Tutor

Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Maths Tutor to work on a part-time basis at a secondary school in the Bury area. The role will involve working on a 1-1 basis with pupils in year 9 and year 10, helping and supporting them with their Maths work.You will need to have previous experience working as a Maths tutor to secondary age pupils either from within a school or similar setting. The role will be based partly within the school with some online tuition work available as well.The position will start after Easter and will continue on a part-time basis until further notice. The tuition sessions will be in blocks of 3 hours.Key Requirements :

• Previous experience tutoring secondary age pupils in Maths
• Ability to work on a 1-1 basis
• Familiarity with the Maths curriculum
• Able to provide own resources
• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
